If Self-Employed

Company ITR – 3 year : Indian income tax return (ITR) acknowledgment for the last three assessment years

Sponsor’s passport copy :

Sponsor cover letter : Sponsor letter with a passport copy of the sponsor and copy of the German residence permit (if sponsor is residing in Germany and not a German Citizen) and If provided: Verpflichtungserklärung (formal obligation letter) of your sponsor.

Sponsor bank statement : Bank statements for the last 6 months.

Sponsor IT return Acknowledgement – 3 years : Indian income tax return (ITR) acknowledgment for the last three assessment years

Flight tickets : Include a flight reservation for your trip both onward and return,

Passport front page :
Valid passport issued within the last 10 years.
Must have at least 3 months’ validity beyond the scheduled return.
Should have at least two empty pages for visa affixation.
No observations on the front data page.

Application form :
Complete the application online using the VIDEX website
Print and submit all pages of the application form, including the barcodes.
Ensure it is completely filled out and signed.

Passport last page : Provide a copy of the biometric and address page of the passport.

Bank statement : Include your bank statements for the last 6 months

Personal Cover Letter : Clearly state the purpose and duration of your travel.

Declaration on Travel and Health Insurance : Sign a declaration of travel with valid medical insurance.

Declaration of true and complete information : Sign two declarations of True and Complete Information.

Hotel tickets :
Include proof of hotel reservations, rental of a holiday home, or campus residence reservation.
If staying with a family member or friend, provide proof of sponsorship, a confirmation from the third person with signature, proof of address, and a copy of their passport or German ID card.
If travelling to multiple Member States, show proof of accommodation in each.

Travel Medical Insurance :
The insurance should cover the entire duration of your Schengen trip with a minimum medical expenses coverage of EUR 30,000.
Ensure it’s from approved Indian travel insurance companies as per German Missions’ guidelines.

Address Proof : Please provide a document that verifies your current residence, such as a rental agreement or an electricity bill.

Photograph :
Include a recent biometric passport picture
Dimensions: 35mm x4 5mm
Must have a white background with 70%-80% face coverage.
Not older than six months.

Salary slips : Pay slips for the last 3-three months.

Employer NOC : Employer’s statement (leave sanction letter).

Marriage certificate : If married please provide a marriage certificate as a proof

Birth certificate : In case of a minor, a copy of the birth certificate

Student NOC : A formal No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the school is required 

Student ID proof : A copy of the student ID card is required to verify proof of education.
